How Petivity went from 93% checkout abandonment to 77% in the first 3 months.
The challenge
Checkout abandonment has been the biggest pain at roughly 93% for the past year.
Outdated, unresponsive design and poor UX compounded into friction at every major touchpoint in the purchasing journey — and completely broke down at checkout, costing the business significant revenue.

The approach
Benchmark against the best, then design for how people actually shop.
I used Baymard Institute's UX research — benchmarked against thousands of tested ecommerce experiences — as the foundation, then designed an adaptive checkout that responded to where each user actually was in their journey, rather than forcing everyone through the same static flow.

The Results
With this redesign, Petivity finally had a clear picture of user interest — and a real baseline to improve from, in a product experience that had been actively deterring purchases. That early success built the buy-in needed to tackle the rest of the major touchpoints: PDP, PLP, and beyond.
16% drop in cart abandonment
42% increase in checkout confidence
6% revenue lift in month one
"Ryan pretty much saved us. As a new member of the team, he saw our problems with fresh eyes, caught major issues in designs we were about to publish, and fixed them immediately — and the results proved it. On top of that, his turnaround time was seriously impressive."
